Jesus' prayer for us!

Jesus prayed for you...did you know that? While he was still here on earth he said a prayer for you. He had just finished praying for his disciples and in John 17: 20 he says:

"...I pray also for those who will believe in me through their (the disciples) message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."

POWERFUL WORDS! Jesus prayed for us...and what did he pray for? UNITY! That we would experience unity as he and God the Father experience unity! Whoa...that is cool! May we experience that unity together with Jesus and with each other!!

Love your blog and especially loved your reminder of how Jesus prayed for us. Wish I was close enough to visit your church. :-) You can post a widget for prayer on your site that will encourage people to pray. Below is one for families.

This is done by the National Prayer Bank, which is a very good site encouraging prayer. On it you can also create your own widget for your church that people can post to any site. Just make a prayer request for your ministry and request that it be public. The site automatically creates a widget you can use. (If you like using their prayer site, they can customize it for your church's site.) Am thoroughly enjoying your posts!
Many Blessings!
